3 Tips To Undiet Your Life & Enjoy True Food Freedom

Have you noticed how hard it can feel to face societal pressure to conform to certain beauty standards?

It's not healthy…

This pressure often often lead to disordered eating habits and feeling bad about ourselves.

And we think of this as NORMAL...It's common, but it's not healthy & it's not normal.

I've caught myself looking at myself in the mirror and hearing a nasty inner critic saying things I'd never say to a friend...Have you?

But what if we shifted our focus from external expectations to internal cues? That's where intuitive eating comes in.

Intuitive eating is a non-diet approach to food and wellness that emphasizes tuning into your body's needs and desires.

It's not about strict rules or deprivation, but rather about trusting yourself to make nourishing choices and enjoying food without guilt or shame.

Here are some tips for practicing intuitive eating:

  1. Listen to your body: Pay attention to your hunger and fullness cues. Eat when you're hungry and stop when you're full.
  2. Honor your cravings: Allow yourself to indulge in foods you enjoy without judgment. Remember that all foods have a place in a balanced diet.
  3. Reject diet culture: Avoid restrictive diets and focus on overall health and wellness instead of weight loss.
  4. Practice self-care: Take care of your physical, emotional, and mental health by prioritizing rest, movement, and stress management.
  5. Be kind to yourself: Remember that intuitive eating is a process, and it's okay to make mistakes. Treat yourself with compassion and patience.

By practicing intuitive eating, you can cultivate a healthier and happier relationship with food and your body. Trust yourself, honor your needs, and enjoy the journey.

And the good news is…It doesn’t have to be as hard as you may think.
